Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Cancellation
1.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time by contacting us at info@zenbooks.online. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
1.2 What Happens When You Cancel
- Your account will revert to the Starter (Free) plan at the end of the billing period.
- Features exclusive to your paid plan will become inaccessible.
- Your data will not be deleted. All invoices, expenses, clients, and records remain intact and accessible under the Starter plan's feature set.
- You can re-subscribe at any time to regain access to paid features.
1.3 Grace Period
If your subscription expires without renewal, you will have a 7-day grace period during which all features remain accessible. After the grace period, your account reverts to the Starter plan.
2. Refunds
2.1 General Policy
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refunds in the following circumstances:
- Service outage — if the Service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) during your billing period.
- Billing error — if you were charged incorrectly or charged after cancellation.
- Within 48 hours — if you request a refund within 48 hours of your first payment and have not extensively used the paid features.
2.2 How to Request a Refund
Contact us at info@zenbooks.online with your business name, payment date, and reason for the refund request. We will respond within 5 business days.
2.3 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the original transaction (MTN Mobile Money). Refunds may take 5-10 business days to process.
3. Free Trial
If you signed up for a free trial of a paid plan:
- No payment is required during the trial period.
- At the end of the trial, your account reverts to the Starter plan unless you subscribe.
- No charges are made automatically — you must actively choose to pay.
4. Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us at info@zenbooks.online. Please see our Data Retention Policy for details on the deletion process.
